We are nestled into our classy motel that clearly belongs back in the 80’s. We are stopped about two hours out of Thunder Bay. Apparently the thunderstorm we were driving through yesterday night in Manitoba was also under a tornado warning, the news today said one touched down briefly. Emily if you read this I am sorry I laughed at you for being worried about tornado’s in Canada…
Anyways we ended the day with dinner on the water in Thunder Bay, and we even got a rainbow or two.

After a long day of driving, we managed to cover half of Alberta, all of Saskatchewan and are stopped in Brandon, Manitoba. We also braved a 3 hour thunderstorm that was terrifying and breathtaking all at the same time. My internet isn’t very stable right now so I will try and upload more pictures later.

Just woke up in Calgary and getting ready to head over to the Olympic park so Paul can Zorb. For all those that have no idea what Zorbing is, someone decided it would be fun to strap you into a giant ball and push you down a hill. That seems like the last thing I would want to do for fun, but the first thing I would love to watch someone else do. I can’t remember the last time I drove through the Rocky’s, but it so amazing when you pass Banff and see all the Mountains slowly fade away and little rolling hills take over.

Rocky Mountains

Currently sitting in our first hostel on our trip. This hostel is unique however, because it just happens to be in a caboose.

The day has arrived!

My car is jammed full of everything i own and my mom is coming in half an hour to take the cat to the new house. It didn’t really hit me that I was leaving until last night, and I wish I had more time to visit with everyone.

Stay tuned for photo’s and updates when I get the internet.
